How listings work

Prefably is a directory, not a paid ranking product. On state pages we sort Claimed listings first, then by public rating signals when available.

Unclaimed listings are public directory records with a Prefably profile page, name, location, phone when available, ratings when published, and a link to the company website. Builders can claim this listing free to correct details. After we confirm ownership, the profile can show as Claimed.

We do not currently show a separate “Verified” badge until a listing has been claimed and reviewed. We do not sell placement in organic state lists. Featured placements, if offered later, will be labeled clearly.

Removal requests are honored after a basic ownership check. Use Request removal on a company profile or email hello@prefably.com, we typically respond within two business days.
