The service

Prefably provides an informational directory of factory-built home companies and a reviewed marketplace for factory-built homes listed by owners and professional sellers. Directory content is for general research only. Always verify licensing, insurance, contracts, timelines, title, and project details directly with the company or seller before you hire anyone, list a home, or deposit funds.

Directory listings

Directory listings are compiled from publicly available business information and may be incomplete, outdated, or Unclaimed. A listing is not an endorsement, certification, or statement that Prefably has inspected the company's work. Prefably is not a party to any transaction between buyers and builders.

Home marketplace

Sellers may create a draft listing and submit it for review. Prefably may approve, reject, pause, or remove a listing at any time, including for quality, ownership, accuracy, or marketplace-fit reasons. Publication is not a statement that Prefably inspected the home, verified title, or confirmed the seller's authority. Prefably is not a broker, dealer, escrow agent, or party to any sale. Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for contracts, deposits, transport, site work, and payment risk.

You must be authorized to list the home, and the information you submit must be accurate. Do not list stolen property, misrepresented HUD-code or modular status, or homes you cannot legally sell. One active private seller listing is available at no charge under the current product rules.

Inquiries and reports

Buyer inquiries on a home listing are forwarded to the seller you contacted. Do not use inquiries to spam, harass, or collect contacts for unrelated marketing. Anyone may report a listing. Prefably may share report details with the seller or remove the listing without notice.

Claim, correction, and removal

Business representatives may request to claim, correct, or remove a directory listing via the on-site form or by emailing hello@prefably.com. Home sellers can pause or mark a listing sold from their account, or email us to request removal. We may ask for reasonable proof of affiliation or ownership before making changes. Use of the site

Use of this site is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prefably disclaims warranties regarding accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Do not scrape or misuse the site in ways that harm the service or other users.
